Hi, I'm Jane!

Founder of The Self-Worth Blueprint™ and The Pattern MRI™ (and recovering Performer)

The Backstory

For decades, I measured my worth by what I produced. I built a nine-figure business and was rudely awakened when I realized how deeply bonded my identity was to my "success" (and therefore "failure").

The day I chose to declare my own worth — fully, without apology or explanation — is the day I came face to face with who I really am. I became inextricably fused with my self-worth, and my entire life shifted. Anxiety evaporated. I slept normally again. I could see situations with incredible clarity. I could say "no" clearly and kindly. I found the sense of peace that had eluded me my whole life — and I didn't need anyone or anything around me to change.

To my surprise, my circumstances transformed too. Offers started flowing through the door. Opportunity keeps finding me — to the point where now I just expect it.

That one moment was the genesis of the work I now do with amazing human beings just like you.

My Hustle Story

Before The Self-Worth Blueprint™, I spent nearly twenty years as a President, CEO, and COO of consumer companies — most recently founding and scaling Pooph to an unprecedented $70M+ run rate in its first year. Pooph reached #1 in multiple categories on Amazon, Walmart, Chewy.com, Petco, PetSmart, and Tractor Supply, and was recognized by Nielsen as the fastest-growing odor eliminator of 2022, 2023, and 2024. Within a year it secured over 125,000 points of distribution across more than 50,000 U.S. retail locations, all while maintaining a near-perfect average OTIF above 97% — growth financed on just $1M of equity and $5M of debt in the first eight months, which helped generate over $150M in revenue in less than four years. I built a nine-figure, hyper-growth brand and also carried it through the events that end most companies: manufacturing fraud, hostile takeover attempts, business divorce, foreclosure — without ever abandoning my integrity, clarity, or courage.

Along the way, I've also worked for a Florida State Senator, a couple of State Representatives, the Miami-Dade County Mayor, and eventually a U.S. president. I later led a nonprofit, which afforded me the opportunity to earn my MBA at USC's Marshall School of Business (despite not first earning a bachelor's degree), and I'm a proud member of the Lonestar Gold chapter of YPO.

People sometimes call me a "war-time CEO." I like to believe what they mean is that I've been pressure-tested at the highest stakes — and I emerged softer, wiser, more human. That is the whole point of my work.

“Do you understand the violence it took to become this gentle? And the gentleness that comes, not from the absence of violence, but despite the abundance of it.”

Off The Clock

Like you, I'm a human being, not a résumé. When I'm not working, you'll hopefully find me on one of my motorcycles (a 2021 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone – Centenario and a Triumph Speed 400), chunking it up on any golf course unwise enough to let me on, or carving groomers where there's good pow.

But really — I'm a Jersey girl at heart. Born in Queens, NY, I grew up in Livingston, NJ until I was 14, then suddenly ended up at high school in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. (Yes, the country.) My undiagnosed ADHD was so bad I didn't have the grades to fulfill my parents' dreams of an Ivy League daughter. I was gifted in music and art, which took me to a very brief stint at Rhode Island School of Design — where I realized my dream was an "American" college experience, the antithesis of RISD. That's how I ended up in Tallahassee at the #1 party school in the nation in 1995: Florida State University. As you already know, I didn't finish my undergraduate degree. I don't think I need to point out why. (IYKYK.) In a totally random series of events, I landed an internship with the Florida legislature during the '96 session, which kicked off a 10-year career in politics that crescendo'd into living in DC working for POTUS 43 (Bush W — and before you draw conclusions about where I stand politically, I've worked both sides of the fence: Chairman of the Black Democratic Caucus, Florida State Senator Daryl Jones, and Cuban Democratic Mayor of Miami-Dade County Alex Penelas).

Post-politics, I found my way into non-profit management. My first-ever CEO job was for the Los Angeles chapter of NAWBO (The National Association of Women Business Owners). While running NAWBO-LA for five years, I was fortunate enough to get my MBA at USC. That gave me the chutzpah to run a CPG company, and I became President of a cowboy boot company. For the next seven years I ran other people's CPG companies as a "hired gun." Some were great, some sucked, some were both. The last took me from LA to San Francisco and a lovely children's shoe company. Then COVID hit and the world changed. I fired myself, and quickly realized no small-cap companies were hiring CEOs. Necessity really is the mother of invention — so I convinced my co-founder to start a company with me. A year and a half later, we launched Pooph, and the rest is history.

I've lived in some amazing places — Miami, Washington DC, Virginia, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe. I call Dallas home now, and I love it. I never thought I'd end up a Texas girl, but here I am. People ask why I love it (usually with an incredulous tone), and some rando online put it so simply it bears quoting:

“Texas is friendly.
Texas is also not particularly interested in your approval.”
— some random native Texan

I deeply identify with that. In all seriousness, I love Dallas because of the friendships I've built here — people who truly care for me and are ready to support me. (Lord knows there are plenty of opportunities to do so!)

At the end of the day, I'm a deeply flawed human being like everyone else. The difference is that I believe my imperfection is what makes me lovable — what makes me human. My humanity is my superpower. It's how I bring my greatest gifts to the world. I hope I get the chance to bring that gift to bear with you.

My Invitation To You

If you're here, something in you is ready. Maybe you've done all the "right" things and still feel stuck. Maybe you're successful on paper but quietly exhausted — perpetually feeling like you're not doing enough. Maybe you just have a feeling you can't shake: that you're not living your greatest purpose. Something's just not quite right. I know that place. I lived it for almost 50 years.

My work isn't about fixing you, because you're not broken. It's about showing you the pattern you can't see from the inside, and handing you something steadier to live from. I do it with candor, a lot of compassion, and zero shame.

I've had great successes in my career, and I've survived more devastation than anyone I know. I don't say that boastfully — it's not a badge of honor. It's context for how pressure-tested my system is. Resilience played a part in my survival, but I've watched even the most resilient harden in a way that destroyed something fundamentally beautiful in them — dimming the hope, warmth, and joy out of their lives.

I knew I wouldn't find my strength by hardening. I found it by softening — by finally accepting the truth about how I was creating the life I was living, staying lovingly with myself through it, and building a system that made me shame resilient.

That's what I want for you: not another performance of "better," but a quieter, steadier knowing of who you actually are. I want to show you where your greatest strengths are stored — all the wisdom already within you, buried under a pile of belief systems that aren't yours.
